Entering and Maintaining an Equipment Lease

Page Sections
The Equipment tab contains general equipment lease information and is separated into two sections;

Every page with Sections offers you additional help for that Section. This help information can be accessed by clicking on the question mark in the Section header bar.
Notes
Notes: Every tabbed page under the Leases selection offers you the option to make annotations for the current lease. When the notepad icon shown above is clicked, a new page will be displayed where you can add notes that you would like to make to help you or others in your team identify key dates/reasons, etc for the lease information entered.
Creating an equipment lease
To create an equipment lease, click on the Add Lease button on the iLeasePro Landing page as shown below;
The Add New Lease page will be displayed. Select Equipment as the Lease Type and complete entering the remaining fields for the equipment lease.
When all of the key equipment lease fields have been entered, click on the Add Lease button at the bottom of the page. This will create a new equipment lease on the Lease Landing page. Select the newly created lease and click on the Equipment tab to enter in the equipment related details.
Equipment Lease Info
Add New Button: Click on the Add New button to add the details for the equipment lease
Enter in the following details for the asset
- Asset Name: The equipment asset name as referenced in the lease
- Quantity: The number of assets defined in the lease
- Serial Number: If available and applicable, the serial number of the asset
- Asset Type: If available and applicable, the asset type of the asset. For example, Copiers
- Useful Life: The useful life os the asset at lease commencement
- Value: The total value of the asset at commencement
- Notes: Available area to enter in any additional detail regarding the asset
Click Save to store the information. Continue adding new asset as specified in the lease.
Note: These equipment fields do not influence the lease accounting calculations.
Additional Field Values
There are four additional fields available to enter key data that you may be interested in storing for the equipment lease.
- User Defined Field Descriptions: The title of the field value
- User Defined Field Value: The value or detail of the user defined field
