iLeasePro Dashboard Help Page Summary

This tutorial page will instruct you on using the iLeasePro Dashboard. For iLeasePro general navigation instructions, please visit the QuickStart General Navigation page.

 

iLeasePro Dashboard

The iLeasePro Dashboard offers a consolidated view into the lease portfolio.  The Dashboard consists of several widgets of information on the portfolio of leases within the account including; active Lease statistics, lease statuses, portfolio cash flow graph, critical dates, Portfolio Health monitor, quick links to most used reports and contact info for your administrator.

Active Lease statistics

The Active Lease statistics widget displays key data for your lease portfolio.  All leases can be viewed as default, but by selecting the Real Estate button, the view will change to only real estate leases.  This view can also be changed to just Equipment leases by selecting the Equipment button

Lease Status

The Lease Status widget displays the total number of leases by status within the account

Portfolio Cash Flow 

The Portfolio Cash Flow displays the cash flow of payments for all of the leases by year within the account.  A summary popup will be displayed by rolling over a specific year.

The view can be changed to only real estate leases or only equipment leases by clicking on the text in the top right hand corner of the graph as show below;

Critical Dates

iLeasePro offers a Critical Date Notification feature.  Critical dates can be set for any date and can be viewed on the iLeasePro Dashboard.  As note, the critical date notification feature offers you the ability to receive the critical dates via email.  The help guide for setting up emailing of critical date notifications please review Scheduling Email Notifications of Lease Critical Dates

On the iLeasePro Dashboard, any lease date within the portfolio that has been setup as a critical date will be displayed on the dashboard critical date section.  Critical dates can be filtered by selecting the timeframe interested in.  For example to view all critical dates coming due in the next 30 days, the user would click on the "1 - 30 Days" text link shown below.

Each lease name is a hyperlink to the lease detail.  To view the lease simply click on the lease name as shown below

Portfolio Health Monitor

The portfolio health monitor offers the ability to view any potential data integrity issues of any lease within the portfolio.  The Portfolio Health Monitor feature reads through all the lease details in the portfolio and provides insight into the number of lease fields that have been verified and also displays the number of critical errors found.  Note that if any critical errors are found, lease accounting will not be allowed to continue.

Examples of critical errors include;

  • invalid date fields
  • invalid rent step setup
  • lease status inconsistencies like a lease status set as Active but the lease expiration date has been passed,
  • Lease Title not defined
  • General Ledger Accounts Payable / Clearing Account not specified  
  • Real Estate lease without a Property / Unit specified

To identify the critical lease data error, click on the number in the Critical Field Errors as shown above. to be redirected to the iLeasePro Health Report.  Click on Run Report and all leases with a critical error will be displayed.
